I have a 1995 Formula thats factory Blue/Green chameleon. A couple people, one being a body shop manager told me that the pearl for this colour is in the base coat, not the clear coat. But when I had the door panel off, it seems there was alot of blue pearl shot on the door, without and green base. Anyone know for sure?

the proffesional is righ. Its just that when the factory painted the car they were not really concerned about the paint inside the door panels b/c they were not gonna show

 

Mystic Teal Metallic is just one solid color as far as I know. I don't believe it was sprayed in blue parts and green parts. It does change colors of course, but I don't believe it was sprayed in separate parts.
