Question Wax: Past or Liquid?

Is there a difference or preference? I have been using paste wax(es) for the past 10 years.

I picked up some Meguire's Gold Class paste last year and have had great results. I am almost out and want to pick up some more, but my problem is that none of the places I have checked (Pep Boys, Auto Zone, and Walmart) carry the paste any more, only the liquid. Is there a difference?

No difference in end result. I find the paste harder to apply and remove.

Try the liquid- won't bite ya.

This is straight off Meguiar's site:

Which is better - paste or liquid wax?
The difference between paste and liquid wax is primarily one of convenience. Modern liquid formulas provide the same protection as paste, and are easier and quicker to apply.

Basically, Paul is right, there is no benefit from using paste, and it's harder to deal with. Gold Class is a good wax in liquid form, but you really should try Meguiar's Mediallion, it's actually much better in terms of shine and ease of application/removal than GC. Of course, Zaino beats them both by a mile. (had to get that in there)
