Thank you for the helpful advice! I do not think I will switch the dash over to 97+.

I used paint stripper for flexible plastic on all the plastic pieces in the car except for the dash and it did not turn out well Now all the pieces look like they've been weathered. I was hoping to get a good clean base so that I could repaint the parts and there wouldn't be any chips or scratches. Alas, the car has not had any plastic interior pieces in it aside from the dash and center console for almost a year cuz the parts look so bad. I need to find a nice black interior out of a 93-96 eventually.
