Cool Push-button start in a 4th gen

It seems like a bunch of new cars are coming out with push button start. I think it would be cool in my car but im not sure how to do it. Theoretically all I should have to do is find whatever wires connect to start the car and run them to a button instead of in the steering column right? Has anyone ever done this? Is it even possible? Let me know what you guys think.

I think it's pretty cool, you can buy a kit to do it in the riceboy mags.

I had one in mine, it hooked up to the alarm. But it wasnt a real time push button start, and I still had to have the key in the ignition and turned to acc. So it was kinda pointless. So I ripped it out when I installed the 97+ console.

I think all of the oush button starts require the key in the ignition still...if not, it would be toooooo easy for someone to boost a Honda S2000 - If I recall correctly though, when I checked one of them out, it still required the key...not sure, but I think that's the case.

Look here! This place sells all kinds of cool security... audio.. video stuff for cars... home... whereever! I've bought from them before!

I think all of the push button starts require the key in the ignition still...

I don't think that's true since additional relays can be wired either directly to the starter solenoid or to the relay that does trigger the starter (on the car). Another relay(s) would supply the juice to the required circuits to keep the car running... like the key does in the "run" position.
However... you would need the ignition key to unlock the steering column to be able to drive it.

I would have kept it, if it was a real time push button start, not a delayed one. Does the S2000 push button actually turn the engine over while you hold the button down?

EDIT: Just watched the video, it does turn the engine over when you push in! Im ordering the button.

Can someone supply a part number for the S2000 switch? I went to Hparts.Com but if you dont already have a part number you're SOL.
