I will be sending the original spoiler back probably monday so i will let you guys know what i think of their return and warranty policy.

From my experiences, they have very good customer service and they back what they sell. Looks like i just got a bad spoiler.
Very good to hear !

When you get things painted there they dont macth good because every car is slightly different and paint fades a little different a body shop that has the car there with them can match it very close. At Spoilerdepot they probly dont have a good painted and they do it the ceapest way. They dont seal it before paint or anything. If you take the knew one to the shop to be painted theres like an hour of prep time before they even paint it.

Re: Product review. Spoilerdepot.com SS spoiler.

Well i spoke to the painter guy at spoilerdepot, and i guess they used the original GM black, which has a hint of gray in it, even though i told them i recently got a repaint. Im sure that if i told them the exact color or code that my paint was, they could have matched it better. The body shop that painted my car used a darker, deeper black, which looks amazeing.

The first spoiler's paint matched except when in the right light, at the right angle or with one of those "daylight" flashlights, like the one i used in the photos i took. I didnt even notice it until i walked out in the evening and saw it at an angle, about a week after installing it. Judges at the car show didnt even notice it didn't match.

And i agree, it looks like they didnt do enough, if any, prep work before painting.

Spoilerdepot.com. It was about $330 painted and shipped. It is about $240 non painted and shipped. I would get it unpainted and have the people that paint your car paint it. Just to make sure it matches.

Re: Product review. Spoilerdepot.com SS spoiler.

I got a SS hood a with some damage it was in a wreck and the car went into a ditch and the latch that ripped out of the fiber glass the whole hood is fiber glass but that is all that was realy wrong with it. The guy that had it before me had a black car and the primer that came on the hood is black so he never painted it. I have like 2 hour on the latch and 2 on the the hood up to this point, I D -A'd it and hand sanded it and primered it with good stuff. I have to cut it in sand the primer and then hopefuly get me car prepped to paint. I just have to find time to do this. Im working on getting my spare car back on the road. It wont pass in spection cause the digital gauge cluster wont light up, Im working on getting that fixed.

Looks OK. But it says it does not come with the LED light and that looks like the stock 98+ SS spoiler LED light. And i pretty sure those are around $100 for a replacement. So keep that in mind when looking for a spoiler.

Re: Product review. Spoilerdepot.com SS spoiler.

What kind of spoiler do you have now? The stock 98+ SS spoilers are 12" long and the SS spoiler that spoilerdepot sells is 9.5" long. They can not use the stock 93-97 Z28 and SS model 3rd brake light.
