hey guys, before i go through the trouble of the conversion,will the trans am door panels work with the window crank? has any one done this on a ta? im afraid the speaker cover will be in the way. thanks for any help.

 

I don't believe they do. I've never seen it.
If I recall correctly the power windows were the same weight as the manual ones...the motor didn't weigh any more than the linkage on the manual windows

 

IIRC ordering the 10 speaker stereo on a firebird required power windows because the speakers get in the way of the window cranks. i have the 10 speaker in my car and ive seen a manual window firebird and i don't think the crank would be able to clear the speaker area.
