powdercoat my rims?

I have a blue z28 with the black top, blah blah blah, well my buddies are trying to get me to powder coad my rims black (5 spoke ss rims) I think it might look good, the whole stealth thing (all black and blue) but im still nervous about if i dont like im still gonna have to drive it. Most of you drive camaros what do you think?

First of all, if you do go with black powdercoated rims, for the love of god, POLISH THE LIP OF THE RIMS, DON'T LEAVE THEM SOLID BLACK.

Secondly, I would go with gunmetal with a polished lip, simply because 99% of the time, with black powdercoated rims, you can't even tell there are wheels on the car. Gunmetal appears black, but you can still tell that there are wheels on the car.

Adding the polished lip just tops it off, IMO, making the rims appear bigger than they are, and definately adds a stealthy look.

black rims can look awesome if done right. But it has to be done right.. i agree Polish the lip or it looks HORABLE
