Opinions on a possible spoiler change for my ride?

Currently have installed a Super Style spoiler.

Pics can be seen in line in sig.

Any opinions appreciated. No flaming please.

I might be biased but i say go with the 98+ style spoiler. I'm not a huge fan of the current spoiler you have.

if you stil have the stocker lying around i say the freedom spoiler, gotta love the old school look of it. if you dont have the stocker then go with the SS

Another vote for the 98+SS.

 

Have you looked into the Mecham? Its kind of a combination of the 96-97SS and the 98+SS spoiler. If i was gonna get anything else i would go with it. I love how the 96-97 SS spoiler doesn't have the pillars but i also love the LED of the 98+SS spoiler. The Mecham has both.

 

I wanted that too, but it's 400 dollars!

 

People keep saying freedom design 3" lip and I don't even know what that is. Someone care to post a link?
EDIT: nevermind, found it but the pic is only from directly behind. Anyone have a better pic?

 

I don't think it is a 3 inch, it should be about the same as the RKsport or LGmotorsports. I have one in my garage that I'm still thinking about if I still want it or not. I haven't painted it yet or I'd post pics.

BTW, your car looks nice but will look GREAT with a different spoiler.

I'd say Freedom first choice (cheap, different, functional and cool looking) or the 98+ SS with or without the center pedestals. I'd go without to be different.

 

Does anyone know if aftermarket spoilers are made of fiberglass? If so you could buy a cheap 98 SS repo and cut the pillars off and glass them up.

doesn't the 96-97 SS spoiler have a smaller flip up on it? i think the 98+ ss is like 1 inch higher than the 96-97...if i'm not mistaken.....where would the cheapest place i could get a 98+ spoiler to have modded to remove the pillars?

My little bro has the 3" spoiler on his camaro and hopefully will have pics posted on my website soon.
