How do you feel about your wheels when it comes to cleaning?
I'm thinking of getting some SS wheels, I like the chrome the best, but not sure if it's worth the extra $$ to get them. If you guys feel polished sucks b/c of the cleaning, then I'll get the silvers.

Depends how your polished rims are "finished".... My AFS ZR1 polished replicas are clearcoated, and require no more maintenance than any painted or clearcoated wheel..... a good coat of Zaino, then treat them just like the body paint.

On the other hand, my Weld Pro-Star drag wheels are not clearcoated, and will dull over a period of several months, depending on how much track time they see. They never see rain. A quick touchup with the new Mothers "Incredible Billet Metal Polish" on a very soft cloth will have them looking near chrome. The rim screws are a bit of a pain to polish around though....

I have polished wheels and I hate them. I got my car detailed and they put wheel cleaner on them and messed them up for life. Plus on my wheels (2000 C5 thin spoke replica wheels) the centercap is chrome so it doesn't match. I'm going to get my wheels chromed as soon as I figure out where I can get them done and the cost.
