Wow, if either of my cars were dedicated show cars, I'd have all the metal parts off of them polishing them up right now. Those pieces look great!

Thanks man.

By the way, what's up with the face being cut out of the dollar?

A few years ago my sister had a job working as a cashier at a convenience store, and somebody paid with that dollar. She swapped it with a good dollar, kept it for awhile, and then later gave it to me as a little "souvenir." I don't really feel inclined to roll the dice and see if I could get away with spending it, so I figured I could put it to good use another way.

No clue why somebody would wanna do that, unless they were high maybe...

Nah, those types've wire wheels won't sand, they'll just clean. And actually, if you were to use a steel bristled brush like the one in that link on aluminum, it would end up just gouging the crap out of it.

You need a sanding kit like this one from Eastwood:

If you use these rolls up to 320 grit, then hand sand with regular sandpaper in 400 & 600 grits to get a uniform surface and even out all the low spots, then you'd be good to use that kit from Ebay to buff to a mirror finish.
