Pilot fog lights -Camaro-

Ok I have a Camaro B4C and I dont have fog lights. So I bought some Pilot fog lights and I want to know how I should mout them. I have the stock brackets off a Z28 but they stick out to far connected to them? Did anyone else mount them a different way?
