pics of interior

here are some interior pics, what do you think. exterior shot is not a good shot, i'm in the process of putting on a venice front bumper and new hood- neighbor also backed into rear quarter, so that is currently being fixed.

Yeh, I bought those like six years ago. After I get my corvette lt1 put in I was thinking about picking up some black 18" z06 wheels

seats look good, but I don't like the carbon fiber dash kit.

The seats look very good, they definitely fit in well with the exterior theme of the car. I don't like the carbon fiber kit though on the dash.

Molded carbon fiber > stick-on carbon fiber, IMO. The black Z06 rims will look tons better than what you have now. I envy you for having such a great color, I love yellow and black Camaros. Base yellow color with a sweet set of black stripes or black hockey stick stripes, VERY fun.

Who did the seat covers? They look like nice quality.

If they made a molded carbon fiber kit for 95's I would have surely bought that kit instead, however I haven't been able to find one. I ordered the seats from autoleathers.com, they're made by katskinzs. Hopefully I can splurge on those z06 rims soon but I have a feeling my motor swap is going to tie up most of my funds.

Alright, here's some other pics of my car before it was all torn apart, there is also a pic of it when it was black- that pic was taken at the deja vu car show in flint, MI. The red toyota mr2 turbo is my girlfriend's dad's car- it only has 3500 original miles on it, and for a ricer it's pretty damn fast, it's also for sale.

The MR-2 isn't a ricer, at least that one isn't...it's just an import.

what the heck is the difference. carbon fiber doesn't belong in the interior IMO.

The difference is that just because YOU don't like carbon fiber on the interior, others (a lot of others) do. I was just stating that the stick on looks a little more tacky than the molded. Back onto some actual constructive criticism for the interior...

As far as there not being any molded parts for 95... do it yourself. You seem to like customizing, it's honestly not hard at all. I guess there's a shortage of carbon fiber right now, so prices are a little higher, but get a square yard of carbon fiber, a gallon of laminating epoxy resin and hardener, and you're in business.

Definitely worth a shot, it takes some practice but if you know how to fiberglass it should be easier. I honestly jumped into this with absolutely no experience and I feel the results came out great for the amount of experience I had.

Cool, I had to cut apart the underneath of a fiberglass hood that I purchased because it was a pos, and I fiberglassed some reinforcement on the inside and then fiberglassed it all back together. In turned out surprisingly well so I'm fairly confident that i should be able to tackle this. Did you cover the factory panels with plastic sheeting and then mold the cf over top of plastic so you could still go back to factory panels or did you just bond the cf to the panels? I'm figuring that I will use plastic sheeting and then make a molded overlay and trim it to fit the panel precisely, and then use 3m tape on the back side to adhere it to the factory panel. Is this what you did?

I took the stock panels, scuffed them up with some rough sandpaper, then used 3m adhesive spray to get the carbon fiber to stick to the panels. Once it was wrapped over the panel, 3 - 4 layers of clear laminating resin and then wetsand smooth and clearcoat paint.
