I thought about painting the vents and trim around the stereo/hvac controls and window/locks silver, maybe the piece around the shift boot on the console. Anyone else done anything like this? If so, any pics/advice before I start spraying?

 

Quite a few of us have done this with varying techniques...

I used VHT Vinyl paint and clear coat on mine. I did a few things in silver.

I like the shifter boot! Did you buy that somewhere or did you dye it? I think I am going to go ahead with mine, mine has the dark tan interior but I think the graphite dash and console will look good with the silver. Nice ride!

 

i didnt paint mine but i got an aluminum kit which looks real nice...look at the pics in my sig
