Pic request...High res pics of a "STOCK LOOKING" 96-97 Silver Camaro SS
Ive scoured and scoured and scoured and just cant turn up any truely good high res pics of silver LT1 SS that is stock appearing . I dont care what wheels are on it or if it lowered , but no billet grills , stripes on the body ect . Hopefully you can help me out guys , I need a good clear pic in nice lighting as a starting point for a photoshop project . I can/have used rear shots from any year , so front 3/4 is preffered .
I can find them , but there either tiny , blurry pics , from a messed up angles , the suns to bright and washes out any paint depth or have a bunch of junk like stripes , billet grills or some type of hood other than a SS . Ive got high res Z28's but can seem to find a SShood and spoiler from a proper angle to chop from . I'd like to just start with a good base as far as the body is concerned , when u photoshop body mods then then start changing the color it tends to find the areas you modified on the original pic unless u get the mods blended perfectly as far as reflections and such .
I know, I'm a graphic designer, and you can't have a good quality output without a good quality input. Low res pics are really crappy to photoshop.
Webshots is a good place to find high res pics. Just look for an album titled Camaro Gathering or G10 or anything similar to that and hopefully you will find what you're looking for at one of the now ~5 year old shows in high res. To save high res images off webshots, you have to click the magnifying glass, then open up the page's HTML source code (ctrl + U on firefox) and copy and paste the http://______.jpg stuff and you can then save the high res image.
Flickr is also a good place to look, but takes forever to search on because you end up with so much stuff that doesn't relate.
Here's the best I can help you with, but anything you do to change the color is going to look unrealistic. Can't get much more high res and gorgeous than the pics of this red one with only 1300 miles on it.

i will try, but the weather isnt cooperating down here in dallas, tx area. it was snowing today. I need to detail it, and take some pics w my digital camera. I think i have actually met Brangeta here in the area, as well as his mother from some meets. I think she is a teacher at a High school I went to.
Do you want to be my representative? It'd save me time having to ask.

When it gets closer to the January date, maybe I can arrange to bring my sister's sebring silver Z28 and we can park next to each other and take some pics.2. Not sure I've met you. My mom isn't a teacher, so that's not me.
3. I haven't seen a real sebring silver SS in about 5 years, so if you met me, it was probably 2004 I guess. I usually didn't talk to people much back then though because I wasn't as "into" what cars are rare and which aren't. I was only interested in seeing colors I didn't see much.
Nah, no signatures on her car. Hope to see your car at one of the upcoming shows. Join Texas-fbody.com I usually post a topic about C&C on there. I'd have to arrange to drive my sister's Z28 there, so I can't just do it at random.
