i have a 96 ss. i was thinking about removing the bowtie emblem from my front bumper cover and replacing it with a factory ss fender emblem. does anyone have pictures of this mod? i am having trouble finding some.

 

I dont have any real pics , but I did a couple quick photoshops though . Should be enuff to give u a good idea . I did both colors of 4th gen SS fender logo's ( silver or red outline )

 

looks pretty good. like to find a black ss with red badges if anyone had pictures of that. btw love the silver ss!!!!!!!!!!!

When I had my SS I was thinking about doing it, but I think the grill is a little too small and low for it to look good. In pics I think it looks ok...a little too busy, but I would like to see it in person. when I took the front plate off my Z it had no bowtie...personally I kinda liked that look..

 

I think you'd have to have the SS letters made a little bigger to look right. The thing he photoshopped looks pretty good, but those letters look bigger than they'd be on the side of the car I think. I'm assuming the letters from the side of the car would be too small to look right.
