my car got egged and the paint chipped on the hood and id like to get it repainted eventually...so i got to thinking it would be a good chance to paint the hood scoop silver...so does anyone have any pics of a black lt1 car with a ss hood and silver painted scoop (dark silver would be good) and maybe some gunmetal zr1's too maybe a black billet grill too...or maybe someone could do a quick photo shop for me since i suck at it and dont have it on my computer anymore anyway thanks

I have a real picture silver SS with a black scoop, but not the other way around...

I think the silver scoop would look real good, and i think a chrome billet grille would look better then black. maybe some chrome/silver overlays for the SS's and CAMARO in the rear too? There are too many black/red SSs out there, black/silver might look real nice, and black/silver accents in the interior are a lot nicer looking then a colored interior IMO.

If i get some time tonight I might cook something up in the old photoshop for ya...if someone doesn't beat me to it

i decided against just cause i dont like how the SS scoop doesnt taper at top on the LT1 cars--- thought it would be a bit to overpowering--


but.... im thinking about doing again to my car now...

 

in my opinion, silver and chrome do not go well together... go for the black grille.

the silver scoop would look bad-@$$

 

i plan to get some black/silver ss badges from brent...i was going to do rear fill ins but dont think i will...with the gunmetal zr1's i would sorta want the car dark so i wouldnt want a chrome grill...black grill just sorta poped in my head after i saw a car just like mine at the jim mc cay show and liked it...not like i have money now for wheels or painting my hood, but i gotta plan for the future...

and i like the lt1 ss hood better than the tapering ls1 hood...the lt1 ss looks more aggressive in general to me...i always thought the ls1 ss's are going to lick me while my car would bite
