Which Percent Of Tint To Go With?
Definatly go somewhere and have them installed with a lifetime guarentee. Then, be sure to get non-alcohol based window cleaner. I have to go to a specialty shop (Majestic Solutions) to get it. The alcohol in windex etc... will wear away the tint and void your warranty.
- Going on 3 years with %25 tint and loving it. (Picture Here and here )
I agree with Brent. I had %10 double layered all the way around on my old S10 and during the day in the rain they became hard to see out of. At night in the rain impossible. Besides, don't give the cops any more reason to search your car

20% all the way around. IMO, any darker than that is just dangerous
meissenation...you have the right idea...the % is how much light gets through but u have it backwards...5%(limo tint) lets 5% of light through so its blacked out...50% (which is whats legal on the sides in virginia) is nearly nothing
i havent tinted my windows yet but i think judging from what others paid $250 might be a little steep...hope this helps

One of my buddies has 5% strip on front, 50% on sides, and 5% on back, makes it look like 20 on the sides and when he gets pulled over they pull out the meter and the state boys get pissed because the sides are legal.
Peace

I have 20% on the rear and 15% on the sides and I love it. At first I had 20% all around because I let the damn window tinter talk me into it. I really regretted it and after finding a flaw on the driver side, I paid to have the other side done at the 15%. The flawed side was covered under their warranty so I kind of lucked out.
No regrets with going to 15% on the sides and I've never been pulled over for them.
