Just make sure you use something to make sure your wires dont rub on the hole you cut to loom the wires through. I rapped them in plastic loom and then in rubber hose. Could find a rubber grommet that size.

I did this a while ago. Definately cleans the bay up. We also have the same STB.

I actually used a jig saw since the connectors were rectangular. I moved the red box down by where the washer fluid neck is. Sorry i havent had time to send pics yet. Been workin too much! I will asap. Anyone that wants pics just give me your email

Re: Passenger Side Wire Mod -->Done! Got Pics

I thought you had to lengthen the wires?

Re: Passenger Side Wire Mod -->Done! Got Pics

I didnt have to lengthen any wires. There is plenty of slack to pull everything through. Only wire I had to lenthen was the Knock sensor mod wire I had on the ground. But if you dont have it dont worry about it.

FOr the hole I used the black looming covered in rubber hose. 2x coverage.

Re: Passenger Side Wire Mod -->Done! Got Pics

I just moved the ground to the inside of the innner fender from underneath using the same threaded hole. I left the red box for now, I was not sure of what to do with it.

yeah thats what i figured...just curious to see if anyone made up a new ground or something!

has anyone gotten rid of the red box? other than taking it off ...actually re-locating those wires as well?
