Painting whole interior

1. My roomate has a 95 Cobra and the whole interior is Black. I dont like How some of my 95Z interior is black and then gray. I want to paint everyting black. I did a search but not to much came up for some reason. Do I need to sand. What is the best paint. I want to do a 98+interior conversion but it is looking expensive. I have time to do it right so the best methods would be appreciated.

2. And if I do a 98+ swap can I just use my airbags. I would think I could at least keep the steering wheel since those are what are so freaking expensive. $450 dash and airbags on ebay. Where I have seen just dashes go for $150.
Thanks for helping

Go to www.eastwoodcompany.com, or one of the restorers like USA1 for the correct paints and dyes. You should not need to sand the plastic, but can if its not textured.
