painting valve covers

I scratched my valve covers so I took them off to paint them. Do I have to use high temp paint or will regular car paint work.

Cool

Why don't you powder coat them? If you spent the time to remove them, spend some $ to make them look really good!!!

I would use "high temp" or "engine" paint.
