I will have my engine out soon and would like to clean up and repiant the engine bay . My problem is that i dont know if the body will stay the color it is now (red). So i dont know if i should just paint it red or go with black or something that would go with other colors. Anyone have pics of a black engine compartment with a different color body. I am open to suggestions, Thanks

 

Can't help you with pics at the moment, since my car is black to begin with. Personally, I don't care for black engine bays on cars of another color. My buddy did it to his teal TA, with the ultimate goal being to repaint the car a charcoal color. For a more finished look, I would personally decide on a color for the car, and use that under the hood as well. If you want a little extra pop, clearcoat it. Just my $.02...
