Painting section of rear bumper

MY exhaust turned the section on my rear bumper black so I decided I like the way the Blackbird's and Collector Edition T/A's so I decided I'm going to paint mine black within the next couple of weeks!

I think it looks great. I've seen that done on T/As and C5s and it looks awesome. I'm doing something similar to my Camaro right now. The back panel between the taillights is getting painted black (and I'm getting my SS spoiler replica painted too)

Hmm, I'm visualizing it and I don't think I'd like that. It's too late now anyway, the spoiler and the panel are being painted at the paint & body shop right now. I'm going for a classic 1st and 2nd gen / Berger SS look and I'm going to be using 1st gen Z/28 logos.
