i never quite understood why people want to BLIND oncomming traffic... is it necessary to have that bright of a light for your normal driving lights? why not just make your brights brighter? its just that blinding oncomming traffic on a 2 lane road at night where combined impact speeds would total well over 130mph to me anyways just seems like a bad idea...

now for the brights, hell i want something brighter than the sun... but there is a reason they have low beams and high beams

Hey Man.. I hear where u are comin from... I point mine down just enough so that they don't blind incoming traffic. I have never been flashed.

100W sounds like alot compared to 55w stock. HOWEVER, to get the 5000k color temp, you have to filter some of that light out. That is why none of the typical "blue bulbs" work. They don't increase the output enough, and end up actually being dangerous.

It is important if you get a custom setup, to spend time aiming and adjusting the beam pattern properly.

Werd. I have the same custom setup, for about 2 weeks now, and I swear Im still adjusting the lights. BTW, did you have the bouncy headlight problem too? I have it right now, just because Im too lazy to fix it. Gets pretty annoying though.

Hmm nope... what did you mount them to ? The main adjusting I did was the actual beam pattern..

Did you ever get a heavy duty wiring harness ?

What bulbs are you running ?

Yeah, I did get an upgraded harness. Im using 100w Showoff bulbs, and I have yet to get flashed. What kind of adjustments did you make to the beam pattern??

Sweet I can't wait to get a new harness. Good choice on the bulbs too man.

Mainly... I hardly ever drive on pitch black roads. So one time in the suburbs, I got out and adjusted them slightly for LEFT/RIGHT illumination.

For city driving I was more concerned with not blinding people

Post pics ASAP of the light output with upgraded harness ! ! !
