painting rotor hubs?
i ordered a set of 4 cross drilled and slotted (all by CNC) rotors for the Z from rotormasters.com. the guy seemed pretty cool and will warranty them for any warping or cracking! i will post the quality of them, with pics, once i get them. anyway, my question is this:
they are not coated (you can get them cad plated for only $50 more, but i did not). i was thinking of getting some high temp paint and painting the hub section and inside the vented area. has anybody tried this?

Yeah, I did it on my new rotors a few days ago... works good.
What I did was take the new rotors, mask them rather sloppy, paint them several coats, then take them to get resurfaced since I don't like to do just a slap on there type deal. (good thing too, because 3 of them were slightly warped brand new!)
Its been working fine since then, I've put about 1000 miles on them the past few days or so.

Ahh... I just noticed... I moved this same topic in the LT1 Tech forum to this forum and now notice you have a double post. I'll close this one
