I want to have my outside door handles painted the same color as my car (medium quasar blue). How much do you think a shop would charge to paint them? Also is there a place where i can just get new handles so i could eliminate the down time on my car having no handles. Those who have done this.......does it clean up the look of the car much???

Thanks for any help.

I've had mine painted for over a year and so far, so good. I like the way it looks much better for my particular paint scheme.

I went to an automotive paint store and had a pint of paint mixed up. I bought some paint reducer and a one of those bottles with the aerosol attachment and painted my own. I then clear coated them. It cost me about 40 bucks and I also painted all the locks on the car to match as well. My door handles were oxidized like crazy. Its held up just fine for over 2 years now. I scuffed them up really good with a scoth brite pad and cleaned them with acetone before I painted them.

The entire car was done by a pro... I can a lot of my own stuff to my car but I leave stuff like paint, body work, and head porting to the pros
