Painting intake question...

... hence the suggestion to shoot a throttle body plate. Pull the plate, prep, paint, install. If the paint doesn't hold up, you've wasted no more than an hour or two of your time.

Sorry dude, I mis-read your post. Well, my TB plate is a machined finished one that I don't really want to try out the spray on. I guess if I could find a used one for cheap or somthing that would be a good idea.

If I just found someone with an FI build that may have tried this before, that would be best.

If I don't find anyone, I may just end up going the route anyways, and just rolling the dice on if it will hold up.
