Painted the Interior, Semi Complete (pics)
The paint is pretty healthy, i tried painting a piece i took off that was broken as a test dummy before i started painting the interior, painted it a year and a half ago with the exact same steps, i scrathed at it and leave it out on the sun in my back yard and the paint is still strong and not fading, so i guess since these painted pieces are inside the car and i ocassionally use her and she is UV protected it will last longer.

i think you runined the interior, i do custom paint and body for a living, and trust me with all the daily use, your interior is gonna start to chip and scratch, and if you ever plan on repainting it black again, the same thing will happen, it will chip and scratch, theres no way to safely take the paint off either, not to mention the silver doesnt go with anything else on the car... to each his own tho
they painted an interior on powerblock for a restoration job...those guys know what they're talking about. Duplicolor interior paint are great but nothing is indistructable. Just like if you beat up the stock plastics they will look like S***. Some car manufactures are painting regular plastics from the factory. porsche, dodge, mercedes, and bmw all do it. I know, I work in a body shop.
im not digging it, but A+ on originality. i did this in my last car and it made it look better, but the paint gets nasty over time. it collects dust and looses its shine.
i also agree on the center console and vents. too much paint can look tacky.
