Painted the Interior, Semi Complete (pics)

I still have to replace both A Pillars, the driver side with triple gauge cluster, custom carpet and seats, and put in the white face gauge cluster with painted dash trim and also the momo steering wheel, i personally believe i have achieved something that was missing in the F-body, but thats just my thought. On a side note, the paint is actually not grey looking like in the pics but rather Metallic Silver, killer

I'm not really digging the center console being painted.

Why not?

When I made my little 1/25 1992 Viper RT/10 model kit, I did a custom black and red interior. It looks good to me, and so does this. It's alla bout the entire package, not just one thing here and there.

Looks awkward/asymmetrical with the passenger glove compartment still black. Paint that too, and use silver guages instead of white like you have planned and it'll look good.

I just not into the fuse panel being more noticable.

This is why I used a subtle color change like dark gray on black. Less in your face, but it's still a noticable difference.

I know i have to paint the glove box, haven't desided when. New pics when ALL is done.

I wouldn't say you ruined it. It's just the silver on the center console that I don't like. I would have just left that black. Otherwise I have no problem with it. I can even look past the silver vents. I have the same wheel cover on my V6, by the way.

Only if you want it to look stock again.

Color is easy to change if you are thinking about it. Just sand the part/s and hit it with a new coat.

i think you runined the interior, i do custom paint and body for a living, and trust me with all the daily use, your interior is gonna start to chip and scratch, and if you ever plan on repainting it black again, the same thing will happen, it will chip and scratch, theres no way to safely take the paint off either, not to mention the silver doesnt go with anything else on the car... to each his own tho

I agree about the center console, I think the colors should be inverted, like, whats silver now should be black, and what is black now should be silver.

Also, the seats/door panels are gross. That zebra pattern needs to go.

Just my .02
