Light blue, neon? Doubt that will look good.
I have Jet Hot LTs. I got them on a group purchase for 511 shipped. Most LTs have about the same gain (within 1-2hp). I did 3" true duals, which is more than needed, unless you are putting out more than 500 hp. 2 1/2" is plenty. When I had it dynoed, i had a fouled O2 sensor and a knock sensor pulling timing, also weak valve springs causing valve float; so my dyno was a bit low, but I gained 14 rwhp, and 7 rwtq. I am gonna get it redynoed soon. If everything is working right it sould be more like 17-20 rwhp, and 10-12 rwtq.
Regardless of gains, the sound of true duals is amazing. I would never change it. Very unique sound.
IMO, Pacesetter LTs are the best for the money. Usually find them on a group purchase for around 350 or so. And they have stepped up their quality significantly.
I see you have the sportback, do you have pics of what it looks like opened to show cargo space, and what it looks like closed on the inside?

Re: Painted interior: Reloaded
The key to painting the interior is to use real car paint-no cans of anything. You take your plastic pieces and use rough sandpaper 60-80 grit and sand them down. Then switch to like a 150 grit and sand until its as smooth as you can get it with 150. Then use a good quality filler primer (again NO can) with your spray gun, I use polyprimer. Then sand with 320 till smooth. You wouldn't believe what that crap will fill in. Anyhow, once smoothed and prepped for paint, paint as you would any automotive body part, I use dupont products and a decent cheap spray gun. Basecoat/clearcoat. Then sand and buff as necessary to achieve smooth finish. If you guys paint your stuff this way you will love the results.

Re: Painted interior: Reloaded
Hey go fast, i remember asking you for advice when i painted my interior back in 2003. i dont think you necessarily have to use auto paint. i rattlecanned mine and it turned out primo. its all in the prep. if you take the time to do all the sanding, priming, and resanding, and do a good job with the clear coat, it will be fine. you can see mine in my sig.
Re: Painted interior: Reloaded
ah i remember now. The first time i did it, i used a rattlecan and it turned out good, but when my buddy had leftover paint from some bodywork on my car, i couldn't resist an exact match. You are correct, the best paint jobs are all in the prep work. I don't remember the brand of can i used the first time around but the color looks identical to yours. I do remember the name of the color though, Tahoe Blue Metallic. Is that the same color you used, cuz it looks like it.
Re: Painted interior: Reloaded
BOOOM!! thats amazing, it is Tahoe Blue Metallic. And yeah, its really close to the exterior (obviously not exact though). Im liking yours though. exact match is a good idea...

no joke, I don't usually chime in on the painted interior pics, truth be told, I usually hate them, but yours is premo man, damn good job....very tasteful.
