Talking Painted interior: Reloaded

About a year and a half ago, I painted my interior. Most people liked it. Well, I got the hook up at an autobody shop that helped me redo them with the exterior paint (exact match) Here are the before and after pics. Tell me what you think.

all the pics labeled "newint#" are the new ones.

Looks good. I too wonder what kind of paint you used, it has a nice glossy metallic/or pearl gleen to it. Did you sand the pieces down before you painted?

wow. thanks for all the compliments. I'm not sure exactly what kind of paint. All I know is that it is the exact same paint as on the exterior of the car (same paint code #).

The process was hours and hours of sanding primering and resanding. Then we sprayed them and clear coated them (again same stuff as on the outside of the car). Then I polished it off with a nice coat of Zaino. The pics really aren't that good. I'll try to get some better ones.

You need to paint your remote the same colour.

Re: Painted interior: Reloaded

It's about time somebody else did it. I did a base/clear on mine about 5 years ago, and with the sole exception of a couple all-out show cars I haven't seen another one done like it since. Most people do the crappy rattle can job. Good work!
