painted intake

The wife's Ws-6 has had a nasty tick for sometime now, well I finally got off my butt and paid it alittle attension. She got tired of not being able to drive it. Well it turned out that it was a bad rocker arm. I was going to put my old heads that I had redone and the 1.6 SA R/R's anyways, so we desided to change it up allitle bit. Painted the intake, polished the top and the fuel rails. removed the corvette covers, polished the V/C's and painted the rad cover. Let me know what you guys think.Trying to change this thing up to make it her's. we bought it with most of the exterior mods so little things, next will be the rear berger panel done in blue

Very very nice. Nice job on keeping the engine bay clean! That had to take a lot of time.

That really looks great. I was thinking of painting my intake.

What kind of paint did you use?
would high-temp paint made for grills and barbecues work well?

I had mine powdercoated an awesome custom silver vien color

But then after cleaning it with a high pressure washer, the powdercoating fell off, and it ended up just plain black
