Angry Paint problem

just today i bought my first car, 1999 firebird, black. i think it looks sharp, just doesnt have the 5.7. oh well, on the rear where it says pontiac indented into the panel the guy had used silver model paint and filled this in to look like chrome, he did a horrible job and theres places on the outsides of the letters where there is paint. i need to know how to get this off, at least on the outside so i can put some of brent's magick stickers in there. I CANT HURT THE PAINT ON THE CAR PERIOD!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you might be in luck if the guy didn't sand the bumper first. just use a good buffing compound. It might take a little elbow grease but it might work without hurting the factory paint.
