when people get their car painted, is their any left over, the reason i'm asking is cause my brother wants to build a guitar but getting it painted in a nice color would be to costly, i was wondering if paint is ever left over or is it all used? thanks

 

You can have a little left over. Depends how good the shop is with their quanitys though. Theirs a quitar in my shop that just got painted black.

 

just go to one of the paint and body shops around and find out when they are painting a car the color you want the guitar. usually they will do it really cheap or even free. as long as you don't need any work done as far as bondo. I know this because i build guitars and it is what I do.
