Paint experts--take a look at this........
Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Some loser must've airbrushed over a scratch and now the little scratch looks 100 times worse because now there is a big area that you can tell has been painted and it looks like crap.
If I had the door clear coated, would that blend in the edges of where it was air brushed?
It looks like ****

I agree with the above mentioned...try a light grit WET sandpaper....like 1500 or even some 1800 if you can find it. Make sure the area you are sanding is lubricated well and clean from any particles that could scratch it....then find a nice polishing swirl remover....grab a buffer with foam buffing pads and go to town...should hide it really well...
Word of wisdom...be gentle while wet sanding and be sure to keep ur buffer moving....I would imagine there is not much paint, nor clear coat in that specific spot...judging by the picture. If you bite through the clear coat...it will look even worse.

Sorry Pal but the only thing that will fix that is a repaint. This is years of bodyshop experience talking. That's what happen's over time when people spot paint. There's only one way to do paint and body work, that's the right way.

Looks kind of like cheap clearcoat peeling up on you. My guess - someone thought they could spot paint but didn't prep right and used cheap/wrong clear and the clear is peeling where the color was spotted on.
