Paint Codes

i have a 97 camaro with seabring silver paint ( i think its seabring unless there was another silver style paint in 97)...anyone know the paint code of it cuz i'm repainting my front end?

dash was replaced so i dont think its in there and its not on the door jam

Here's the '98 build numbers... it has a silver paint code on there - I would think it was the same for '97 - but it's 13U there. You paint supplier should be able to tell you if it is or not.

I believe its just 13. Thats all my trusty Camaro White Book says and I'm fairly sure thats all there was on my door with the RPOs. Might have been a U, I'll have to check. Either way 13 is our number. Theres a total of 7,624 Sebring Silver Camaros built in 97 in case you're interested.

The U after the code stands for Upper when the vehicle is painted a two-toned color they specify the top color as U and the bottom color as L. Vehicles with only one color are followed by the U.

That makes sense. I did check just now and theres a U beside the paint code. Thanks for clearing that up.
