I realized that this kit was going to be a PITA to install, so i am takeing it to a body shop to have it done right...but i am woundering if it is just going to be better to have the scoop painted. because if they are going to be fiddleing with it for like 5 hrs and getting pissed off at it they are prob going to charge me out the ****. I figured on about 300 for the whole kit install. (hood scoop, trunk and spoiler) But if they have a hard time with the scoop i dont want this turning into a 600 dollar project. How much does haveing just the scoop painted genuinely cost? and how much do you think this install will cost..i am going to start asking around in a few days when i get my paycheck and just wanted to know what you guys think is reasonable.

Trust me get it painted I had the decals ended up having to buy a new kit because it did not come out right. THe second time ended up the same. SO I had the hood scoop and rear deck & spoiler painted looks 100000% better

about how much did it cost you to get it painted. and does anyone know where i can find the ZL1 kit for a 93-97 Z. i didnt specify that earlier. i guess i should put that in my sig
