The car is dark purple metalic (pics in sig). I want silver racing stripes on it, similar to these:

Do you think that will look okay? Should they be thinner? I was thinking of going with Sebring Silver (they will be painted on, the rest of the car needs paint, so this is the perfect time). any opinions? Pictures welcome!

I think silver over purple would be pretty good looking!

You can see a similar look if you find a '92 Hertiage Edition RS in Purple with the Silver Stripes (even though it is a 3rd Gen)... (Sorry, I looked, but couldn't find any pics... but there are a few locals around here that have them... they were availble late '92 from the factory in Purple/Silver)

 

I know, that is where I got the idea of using silver as an accent color. The stripes I want have the pin stripe around it, as did the HE's, i believe.

Anyone else have suggestions on stripe styles or color of silver?

 

My T/A is Cyclamen like your camaro. I got the silver vinyl for it, and it looks good. I didn't get stripes, but i got almost everything else. So if you want to see some pictures, just send me an email and i'll be happy to show you how mine turned out.

You have to go with the 30th anniversary stripes. I have mine painted on and i love em. Some crappy pics are in the sig, but it looks awesome in person.
