Arrow Opinions on body kits

I LOVE the look of body kits. But... my camaro is already lowered and im un sure if i can add a body kit. From what I hear they are a hassle since they always crack. Is this true? I'd like to hear from guys who own kits. and can you add a kit to a car that has already been lowered? Thanks appreciate it!!!

First, they dont crack if you dont hit anything , but being lowered w/ a bodykit, you are going to have to watch for every speed bump and inclined driveways and roadways. Even without lowering, you have to watch for those with a bodykit (the car should be lowered though, they look damn good then). There are some members of people on the board who are lowered and have a bodykit, maybe they will chime in. It is possible, but it you definitly have to plan where you are going with your car

I had WW gfx on my 94 z28 and they didn't crack but if you stick them on with just the tape, the fall off real easy, plus my car ran alot hotter with the front ground effect on

Yea i learned the hard way with the double sided tape...

I lost a rear piece

Then i got smart and drilled a few screws in there in key spots and it works nicely!

Just dont hit aynthing, go down/up steep pavements and u should be ok

Body kits and having a lowered car spell big trouble. You better decide what's more important, handling or looks.

My kit is custom molded and lowered on adjustable coilovers. This lets me adjust the ride height so that I don't have to drive around "too low", but I can set it slightly lower for shows.

EDIT: By the way, I'm going to drop it another 1/2 inch in the front for everyday driving
