I have a 99 z28 with an oem ss hood on it. (Recently installed) I have noticed when I hit bumps and drive at higher speeds that the hood shakes. Is this normal? Is it just because the hood is fiberglass and the stock one was steel? Should I be worried about it? Help from any oem ss hood owners or anyone else would be appreciated greatly.

I bought an aftermarket SS hood from RK Sport and mine did the same thing. I was initially conserned myself! I was worried that the sucker would fly right off! I bought an industrial sized rectangle piece of velcro from walmart and put it on the top of my airbox. It doesnt seem to bounce nearly as much now.
