nose question ?

i was thinking, we all know how flimsy the 93-97 t/a's noses are. When you paint them, in a few years spider cracks start to show up right? do you think that if i put a layer or two of fiberglass around the inside of the nose, do you think it will hold up nicely? i will be painting it soon and dont want it to crack later on in the years.
thanks in advance, greg

Spider webbing cracks aren't caused by time... a few years, they are caused by either you or somebody else running into the nose

If you make this piece "hard" then when the same type accident happens which causes the spider webbing happens again then what you'll end up with is either chipped paint or a broken piece of fiberglass... something has to give.

If I were you, I'd just have it painted like normal. The front end on my 94Z was painted 9 years ago and it still looks good because I haven't had any fender benders happen on the front of the car

All that is true. I like the idea, Another way that youl get little cracks is scrapiping the nose on the ground when you over or up a hill. Its just when the bumper cover flexs that will cause it. what do you want to put some tiger hair or a puddy in some spots to strengthen it up a little. I dont think it would hurt.
