I took mine off my 98 Z with a heat gun, and some adhesive remover, but you have to be really careful not to peel the paint away

I used fishing line and a blow dryer. Although after you've removed the badges you have to get rid of the sticky junk left on the car. For that I just used Bug & Tar Remover, it took a little work, but I got it all off.

I used unwaxed floss and some goo-gone. Took the things right off.
