New T/A door panels
New T/A door panels
Got my new T/A door panels today, and they look good in the car. I haven't installed them yet, just test fitted them. Those two holes that stick out for the camaro door panel definitaly have to come off since you can see them pushing the panel out. Other then that it fits like a glove in there, better than the camaro panel I think. Can't wait to finish it up tomorrow.
Re: New T/A door panels
Those of you that have done this conversion, what kind of spacer did you use between the door panel and the door....or did you use one? Looks like there is a little gap there.
Re: New T/A door panels
i didn't even use one, just remounted the clips on the old spacers on the door in the correct location and used the long screws to scre it in. No problems
If anyone finds an easy tutorial on hooking up the mirrors I'd appriciate it. I'm not good with wiring diagrams

Re: New T/A door panels
I've done it myself and made this walkthrough. Just click on the "Door Panel Install" - http://projectcamaro.com/walkthroughs.htm
Re: New T/A door panels
i used some of the exhaust manifold bolt spacers i had off of my car as spacers for the door panel. As for the wiring diagram its not that hard you just follow shoeboxes diagram and it's time consuming but not hard.
Re: New T/A door panels
Well I got the door panels on, they look pretty good, just need to be cleaned up. I still need to perfect them, it was to cold outside to get everything perfect. Overall the fit is great I am very pleased. I'll some pictures up soon. I just need to get some speaker grilles for the drivers side since the guy lost them.
