Jason - i haven't had a chance to reply, but overall I'm happy with them. I am kinda disappointed that they're not black. They're more like gunmetal or dark grey rather than black. Is everyone else's the same color as mine?

 

That was noticed by me as well. It is most noticeable when used on a black car in direct bright sunlight. Naturally those who have painted theirs will not have this problem, but this is why I said they are "dark" and didn't use the word "black" and this is also why I did not doctor the images on the SmoothLock info page.

I wondered if this will ever be an issue and just in case it would be, I am already one step ahead of you. I made explicit instruction to ensure that the new batch produced is indeed as black as possible and I was told it would be.

Even though it is a simple little inexpensive item, I stand by my product. If you or anyone else who has ordered them noticed the color not being 100% black and is not happy with them as a result, I will be send out replacements absolutely free. If it is not too much trouble, I would like the originals back if they need to be replaced.

If you would like replacements, let me know by e-mailing me your order information. Also let me know if you don't mind sending the originals back and I will include a self-addressed stamped envelope so you can just drop them in the mail.

I apologize for this. You can always prime them and paint them if you would rather not send them back, but like I sad, I stand by my product and I will make it right for those who are not 100% happy with them because they are not exactly 100% black.

Again, I apologize for the hassles.

I just got notification that my shipment was sent out to me yesterday, so I should get them today or probably tomorrow, Monday at the latest I suspect.

My shipment did not come in today. Your shipment of the other items we talked about will not go out until Monday, I have to go out of town on emergency all day tomorrow. I might be able to get them out Saturday, I will try.

Just PayPal me the extra 10 with the rest and I will send the SmoothLocks separately if I have to, they go regular mail.

Absolutely. Anyone who ordered theirs while I was sold out should have gotten an e-mail from me explaning that I will send theirs out ASAP.

I have the envelopes ready to go, I just have to fill them and send them out!

I'm sorry for the delay. It was 3 weeks ago, actually. Still, longer than I expected.

I fully anticipate everyone will get their order next week. I will notify everyone when they ship.
