New roof panel
It's a common problem that has everything to do with the adhesive that was used to adhere the roof panel to the framework underneath it. If you do a search, you will find many threads on this topic. I know some people had it replaced under warranty, I don't know with the age of your car now whether you would have that option or not.
Without lots of body work skills it is not an easy thing to do/replace on your own.
It requires removal of the piece, and gluing the new piece on. Also the piece that you put on will need to be painted also.
Average costs I have seen for this repair are $1500-2000!!
Yeah, it STINKS

and since the roof is only glued on how hard could it be the replace yourself?
Anyone ever do this? What would the roof panel cost?
