Question New rims

I have a '94 camaro and I am thinking about getting some new rims for it. I do want to get an 18" wheel, and I want to put the widest rubber on it that I can without having rubbing problems when I turn. I also want to keep the overall tire height the same as stock, so I don't have to mess with the speedometer. So what rim width, rim offset and tire width would you suggest?

Your best bet would be an 18x9" or 18x9.5" wheel, with either a 275/35-18 or 285/35-18 tire. The 275 will be a shade smaller in diameter than stock, the 285 will be a bit larger. Neither one will be different enough to make any serious difference in the speedo, or with regard to "rubbing". In general, get a wheel offset in the range of 45-55mm. You might want to consider an 18x9.5" in the front, and an 18x10.5" in the back.
