New Pictures!

I recently had my windows tinted 5% on the hatch & 20% on the sides. I also added a 98+ SS spoiler & black clear corners. What do you guys think?

Looks pretty good. Not a fan of the clear corners myself, but that's just personal taste.

Will you be painting the spoiler, or keeping it black? I think I like the contrast, but I can't make up my mind.

Re: New Pictures!

you should paint your hood vents black and it'd look great, unless your painting the wing black

i like it black

Mmmm... in all honesty, I don't really like the clear corners or the wheels... Not crazy about the black spoiler either. I'm pretty impressed by how good the body and paint are on your car though. Has your rear bumper never sagged? Or how did you fix it? My rear bumper sags quite a bit...

What do you have against stock though?

Re: New Pictures!

okay so I have been contemplating doing an SS spoiler in black for some time on my silver 98 z. Did some photoshops and what not, thought it looked pretty sharp, now that I see yours I am almost certain that I will be doing that, but I wonder what it would look like if the black was carried forward some onto the rest of the raised portion in the rear.. might have to photoshop that quick. But yeah man the ride looks nice, the wheels are nice but can't help thinking what they would look just a touch bigger. Good work though

Re: New Pictures!

Could you give me any info on the spoiler you got? I was thinking about getting one but I'm worried about which company I should go to for the best fit....and, was it easy to take out your stock spoiler? Basically, is it a lot of trouble to install the SS spoiler overall?

GT KILLER - If you want my opinion (or even if you don't ) my vote for your car would be to go with the '96 to '97 SS style spoiler. It lacks the 2 columns in the middle on the '98-'02 SS spoiler. It also is much more similar to a regular Z28 spoiler and just overall looks a little better to me on '93-'97 Camaros.

The '96-'97 style also has the same 3rd taillight as the Z28 spoiler.

You can get the OEM one from SLP

Re: New Pictures!

Nice Job with the car. I'm not a big fan of the black spoiler though, a silver spoiler with the berger panel would look nice... Look into some rear "Camaro" inserts from Brent Franker, he is a supporting vendor who has great products, awesome prices, and unmatched customer service.

Re: New Pictures!

Not a bad looking car overall. if i were you, i would look at painting the entire hatch black...and the hood also...just to acheive a sort of smooth look. having just the spoiler painted black...just doesn't seem quite right...i dunno. oh and you should Nightshades the rear marker lights. My 2 cents...car looks good tho! i just got some of those clear tinted signals too...
