Love the wheels and the GFX. Personally, I would go with the SS spoiler and some lowering springs. But sweet car, nonetheless.

Hey Jack (av0) thanks for the reply. I must say I'm surprised that its only a 1/2 inch difference. I've come to a conclusion though that seems to make sense. I don't think that the quad tip is actually intended to blend in with side GFX. I searched through the pictures of cars I've saved with quads, and noticed that all the ones that have no gfx look perfect. I guess the idea is that the narrow front blends perfectly with the lines of a stock camaros sides. I also looked closely at my car and saw that the rear bumper slopes up, making the rear, behind the wheel wells, higher than the sides. I then looked at some pictures of cars with complete GFX and saw that even a complete kit sometimes doesn't match up kind of like yours. I guess it just depends on the brand you get. I'm usually pretty picky about things, I guess I just never thought to look at that before. I'm sure that in person it doesn't look as noticable, because rarely would you catch something like that while standing beside it. You'd have to look closely from the side to actually see a difference, much like you picture was. Anyway, your car does look good and hopefully someday soon I can put picks on here of mine. As far as further mods for yours, I agree with the lowering springs and then an ultra Z. I am kind of liking the looks of the ram air (TA and Formula) hood for LS1 camaro's.(is this the US Body Hood??) I didn't like it at first, and I don't know the exact name of it, but it does grow on you after a while and it is different. You might want to check into it if you can get a specific name and some pics of it. Good Luck.

Those are the rims I want for my Silver 98' also. What size are those? since I'll be needing new tires soon anyway. And have you seen them in the silver? I prefer the silver wheels to the chrome ones on my car (check the sig for rim color). And by the way - it looks KILLER!!!!

APS- Yep, the US Body is the RamAir TA hood..it has grown on me quite a bit.

Casper 420 - These rims are (Front)17x9.5 with 275/40/17s and (Rear) 18x10.5 with 285/35/18s.

I have seen the rim in silver, and it looks really really nice. You can order silver from the same places that have chrome wheels (check ebay...quality and prices are great)and you should save about 200 bucks in the process --- the last set I saw on ebay of the silver painted versions sold for 919.00 for all 4 brand new!!

Check out the "appearance mods" section of this webpage and click on wheels... I believe there are some pics of silver there!

My wheels came from Dave @ Fast Lane wheels
fastlanewheels@excite.com - great price and outstanding quality... and he is a very nice guy.

Good luck in your search, and be sure to post pics!!

No no no no no. Those rims look horrible on a silver Z. I will gladly do you a favor and trade you straight up for my Konig Monsoons. They look much better on a silver car than that ugly old chrome stuff. I feel sorry for you driving that pretty car with chrome wheels. I think they would look much nicer on my silver z.
