Lightbulb new idea for interior painting

i am planning on painting the huge top peice of the dash, but does anyone know how hard it is to get out of there? i think i would be cool just to have that part painted

A lot of people have that idea but the problem is the reflection it causes, it's blinding.

Its simple. its held in by velcro and snaps. So take a flat head screwdriver and wedge it up, it will pop out once this is done.

i thought of painting mine since it is cracked. i was going to fix it and repaint it, but then i thought about the glare. i am not sure what i am going to do about it now. i am in the process right now of painting the whole speedo dash bezel (93-96 style) silver, so i am not sure why i am concerned about glare. i am going to always need sunglasses!

It's easiest to take off the a-pillar covers. I think those just snap on and off unless you have ttops (I think those are held on by screws at the top). Then pry up the dash piece and it'll pop off without breaking.

I have my bezel painted white and I have a ragtop, so the sun is always on it at every angle. I've never had a problem with any glare. See the pics here: http://photos.yahoo.com/negativez0
