New headlights

I finally upgraded from my crappy 1st gen projector headlights that had the issues with LED's and halo's burning out in like a week. These seem a whole lot better, quality is ok nothing spectacular, projector housings are sealed very nicely. I also changed out my turn signal housings, i might be upgrading to LED turn signals here shortly, all the lamps are 12000k except for the foglights, they sent me 10000k by mistake. Well here's some pictures:

Nice! The halo around the light looks sick!

Nice. How's the quality of those headlamps? Every aftermarket set I've seen in person looked pitiful compared to the stock ones. The ones I have seen don't fit proper and have a cheap plastic look to them. Yours have a few more lights in them, so they're a little different.

I'm very surprised with the quality on these lights, they seem to be very well built even if they do come from Taiwan On this set the LED's can be easily changed if they burn out, there's fusible links on each halo and LED which is a huge plus. They still don't fit quite right, i still have some work to do, the projectors are so so but still get the job done quite well.

That's something I dislike about most/all of the aftermarket lights. They just plain don't fit right. You can't tell in pictures (at least I can't), but in person, I notice it every time. It's kind of disappointing.

The set I am thinking of in particular that I saw a few months ago that REALLY didn't seem to fit right were a set of three bulbs with a black/dark background casing. If I remember right, they didn't seem to be curved enough and the rubber stuff around them was cut uneven and didn't fill the space properly.

It sucked because the owner of the car obviously bought them because they thought they would look cool, but man... they really didn't because of the poor fit. There should be a topic in this forum about which lights fit like crap and which fit properly and look high quality.

I think the set I'm remembering looked like these. In the pics you can tell the rubber is cut poorly and they look like Dollar Store toys: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1998-...Q5fAccessories
No offense to the seller of these. I'm just going by memory, but I'm fairly certain this is the set I saw recently on a Camaro.

Yep those are the ones, i had the same exact set and they fit horrible. It was so bad that it would constantly short out my turn signal bulbs because of water pouring through the 2.5inch gaps

Right now i'm working on my drivers side light, that's the one that's off by 1/4 or maybe 1/2 inch and it's not because of the headlights, my passenger light fits perfect no gap or anything. A few years ago some dumbass ran a stop sign and hit the front of the car, drivers side first and ever since then headlight fitment hasn't been right.
