New Carpeting doesn't install well
New Carpeting doesn't install well
I got some new carpeting from Year One and its just a pain to install. Not only that, but its not like the stock carpeting. This is just carpet basically, not the heavy backing. Also, the rear isn't molded to fit right in the back. Is there something I should know when installing them? If its difficult I will just sell them. 100% brand new front and rear for a third gen in black.

If the stuff you have got is correct though, the only thing I can even think of to help you is a steam machine - just steam the stuff and it should be a little easier to work with. :shrugs:
oooh, I could have warned you about that, I am pretty disappointed with my Year One Carpet. The color wasn't right and it was really poor fitting. Not much you can do, was yours way too short towards the trunk also?
I should reword it. I got some carpeting brand new from a guy that got it from Year One. I bought every single piece for a third gen interior in black including the carpets for $200 so I don't mind.
